This was a project I completed for my Intro to Electrical Engineering class. It was my first ever project at UTSA and through the completion of this venture I learned a lot of invaluable assets and skills such as project management & troubleshooting electronics.
Project Description
In this project I utilized resistance/voltage to detect three different states of light intensity using a photo-Resistor connected to a myDAQ. The real-life applications of photoresistors can be found within a streetlight that can detect when it is night-time due to the absence of light. The project consists of green & red LEDs to simulate the street light turning on or off depending on the amount of light present.
